Page-view analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics. Its script sends page-view data to Vercel. According to Vercel, data points may include the event timestamp, page URL and route, referrer, filtered query parameters, approximate location (country, region and city), device type, operating system and version, browser and version, and analytics script version.

Vercel describes this service as cookieless analytics used for aggregate statistics. It creates a visitor hash from the incoming request; the visitor session is discarded after 24 hours. That does not mean all analytics records are deleted after 24 hours. Aggregate analytics retention depends on Vercel's service and project plan. The site operator does not use analytics to identify visitors or track them across other sites.

Your theme choice

If you use the light/dark button, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device. Clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes your IP address and request information to deliver pages and for security and reliability. Hosting and security logs may be retained under Vercel's policies and project configuration; we do not promise a specific deletion period for those logs. We do not use hosting logs to identify visitors.

Advertising

There are no ads on Moved Where today. If we add them later, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. We'll update this page before that happens, explaining which partners, what they collect and how to opt out.

The data on this site

All migration figures are aggregate IRS statistics about places, not individual records. State flows may be withheld because of fewer than 10 returns; county flows because of fewer than 20 returns. Other IRS disclosure rules also apply. How we show withheld values.
